Zulma has two solutions.  In the first solution, the veneers at the extremities of the sticks must match;  in the second solution, the veneers at the extremities of the sticks must not match!  The puzzle in the illustration is made of solid mahogany veneered at the extremities with satinwood, wenge, and English oak.
